Deliver a contemporary swimming pool design, and project manage the build of the pool, pool house, greenhouse and garden landscaping.
Our design
Our clients commissioned Chadder Design to create a contemporary and stylish pool area for their garden.
The starting point for all our design projects is to ensure we can incorporate useful and practical elements without compromising on style.
When designing this project, we of course wanted it to look good but it was paramount that it was a practical space and outwardly simple in its construction. We wanted the overall impact to deliver elegance in its simplicity. Function leading the structure and design.
In keeping with the natural topography of the garden, we delivered a luxury pool house, greenhouse and contemporary swimming pool design that would sit elegantly in their surroundings. The flow between each area was crucial to ensure the new additions to the garden felt seamless and delivered on both practicality and luxury. This was achieved by incorporating a large split-level patio that links the house, outside dining area and pool area together.
Often to achieve a seamless and high end specification, we refer back to technology and design used in marine environments. Simple design elements on yachts for example deliver on style, reliability and practicality. It is this approach to design that inspired us with the phone charging points set up around the pool. Utilising marine technology, we fitted wireless, waterproof chargers into the decking, enabling users to just pop their phone down to charge whilst enjoying the pool.
In our mission to ensure that high specification and practicality did not compromise style or space, we created both a swimming and jacuzzi area within the pool. This offers both the wellbeing of swimming and relaxation without the need for a separate hot tub. At one end of the pool, concealed from sight are integrated massaging jets. We love utilising ‘stealth’ technology where we can to deliver the luxury experience. This concept is used again with the integration of bluetooth speakers disguised as rocks, in the raised planters around the pool.
To complete the design, at night the whole area is lit by coloured LEDs. This creates an inviting ambience in the garden whatever the season, and ensures that the family can move safely around the pool area at night.
All of these features, combined with the design and landscaping have delivered a superb outdoor relaxation and entertaining space.
